Server data

Among other data, the following data transmitted to us or to our webspace provider by your Internet browser are captured by us for technical reasons (so-called server log files):

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Website from which you visit us (referrer URL)

These anonymous data are stored separately from any personal data you may have provided us with and thus preclude any conclusions being drawn about a specific person. They are evaluated for statistical purposes in order to enable us to optimise our website and our offers.

SSL encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries you send to us as website operators, this website makes use of SSL encryption. You can recognise an encrypted link by the address line of the browser changing from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser address bar. When SSL encryption has been activated, the data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.

Possibility of contact

We offer you the option on our website of contacting us by e-mail. In this case, the information provided by users is stored for the purposes of processing their contact request. This information is not forwarded to third parties. The data collected are not compared to other data either that may have been collected by the components of our website.

Publication of job advertisements / online job applications

Your application data are electronically captured and processed by us for the purposes of processing your application. If your application results in the conclusion of an employment contract, the data you have provided may be stored by us in your personnel file for the purposes of the standard organisational and administrative process, taking into consideration the relevant legal regulations.

Information / revocation / deletion

The German Federal Data Protection Act states that, should you have any questions concerning the capture, processing or use of your personal data and their correction, blocking, deletion or the revocation of consent previously given, you may contact us free of charge. Please note that you have the right to have incorrect data corrected or to have personal data deleted, unless this wish is precluded by a statutory retention requirement.

Disclaimer

1. Website content

The author does not accept any liability for the up-to-dateness, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided. Liability claims against the author relating to material or immaterial damage caused by using or failure to use the information provided are excluded in principle, in as far as it cannot be proven that the author acted deliberately or in gross negligence.

All our offers are subject to amendment and are non-binding. The author explicitly reserves the right to amend, supplement or delete parts of websites or the entire website without prior announcement or to suspend publication on either a temporary or permanent basis.

2. References and links

Liability obligations regarding direct or indirect references to external websites (“hyperlinks”) outside the scope of the author’s responsibility would only come into force if the author knew of their content and if it were technically possible to prevent the use of illegal content by reasonable effort.

The author hereby declares that no illegal content was evident on the linked websites at the time when the link was established. The author has no influence upon the current and future design, content or origin of linked/connected websites. He therefore explicitly distances himself from all content of all linked/connected websites that was amended after the link was established. This statement applies to all links and references set within the author’s own website as well as to external entries in guest books, discussion forums and mailing lists set up by the author. Only the provider of the website referred to will be liable for any illegal, incorrect or incomplete content and in particular for damage resulting from using or failing to use such information, and not the party that merely refers to the respective publication via links.

3. Copyright and trademarks

The author endeavours to consider the copyright on the graphics, sound files, video sequences and texts used in all publications, to use graphics, sound files, video sequences and texts he has created himself or to make use of licence-free graphics, sound files, video sequences and texts.

All brands and trademarks mentioned on the website and possibly copyrighted by third parties are, without restriction, subject to the provisions of the applicable trademark laws and the ownership rights of their respective, registered owners. The mere fact that a trademark is mentioned does not imply that it is not protected by the rights of third parties!

The copyright on published items created by the author remains entirely with the author of the website. Any duplication or use of the items such as diagrams, sounds or texts in other electronic or printed publications is not permitted without the author’s consent.

4. Legal validity of this disclaimer

This disclaimer is to be regarded as part of the Internet service from which you have been referred to this website. If sections or individual terms of this text are not, no longer or not entirely legal, the content or validity of the other parts of the document shall not be affected.
